This double DVD is one of the few records of the incredible Fishheads Club tour that went from 2010 to the end of 2011. A tour that Fish has often cited as one of his all-time favourites it featured songs from throughout his career both with ‘Marillion’ and as a solo artist performed as stripped-down versions by a 3-piece band with himself, Frank Usher on guitar and Foss Paterson on keyboards.
The first DVD was recorded on a multi camera shoot at a live show at the University of Derby, Faculty of the Arts on December 13th, 2010 and produced and directed by Russell Cherrington.
The heady atmosphere in Derby is a stark contrast to the filming on the second DVD. This was shot in the intimate atmosphere at Fish’s house and studio in front of a small, invited audience and produced and directed by Andy Gamble and Jeff Cousins, AVP Media Ltd.
The studio sessions also contain an interview which introduces nearly every song as well as thoughts on the tour. Altogether across the 2 DVD’s there are almost 4 hours of footage.
Both multi track recordings were mixed and mastered by Calum Malcolm
The double DVD comes in a plastic case together with an 8-page booklet with sleeve notes and photos. Both DVD’s are playable in ‘all regions’.
